The Transparenté collection includes lightweight sheers that provide maximum transparency to heavier linen-mix fabrics that ensure complete privacy. All fabrics are available on double-width rolls, which allow you to create a seamless flow of material up to 35 meters wide. This feature is perfect for covering large windows, including bi-fold and patio doors, as well as for creating room dividers.

Double-width fabrics are ideal for covering large areas
Transparenté fabrics range in width from 285cm to 320cm, depending on the design. This width serves as the fabric drop, allowing you to create a seamless flow of fabric, covering up to 35 meters without any joins. This ensures a polished appearance, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the curtains and saving time by eliminating the need for pattern matching and sewing.
How the pattern runs on railroaded fabric
The Transparenté fabric is double-width and features lead-banding at the bottom, therefore, the pattern is railroaded. This term refers to the orientation of the design on the fabric roll. On standard rolls of fabric, the pattern typically runs vertically, parallel to the selvedge edges. With railroaded fabric, the pattern runs horizontally across the roll, from one selvedge edge to the other. This orientation is ideal for covering large areas, as you don’t need to pattern match the fabric.
Lead weight banding on the selvedge for the perfect drape
All fabrics in the Transparenté collection (except for the Linen Mix fabric) are supplied with 14 gsm lead weight banding along one selvedge. This integrated banding is the perfect weight to create a beautiful and professional fabric drape.
